"What fun!!! I've been living in the area for about a year and a half now and clearly I've not gotten out much. This tour was absolutely perfect for exploring, learning, and trying new and interesting food. Not only was this beyond tasty, but it was entertaining and informational. I generally can't remember anything after a tour because I'm inundated with too much information and nothing to help mark any notable takeaways. Food is the perfect way to fix that, let me tell you. Let delicious treats highlight interesting tidbits of local history as you snack your way around town with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I could not recommend this more for locals and visitors!"
"Katie did an incredible job showing us around our new neighborhood. Highly recommend this food tour if you're interested in getting to know Somerville's rich cultural history and taste some delicious treats along the way. 5 stars!!"
"In my opinion, Yelpers definitely want to get off the beaten path and discover places the locals love to eat! I was so excited to find this tour of Davis Square after moving to the area recently. I absolutely LOVED it and am telling all my friends and acquaintances to go take this tour!"
Here, there, and everywhere -- "J.P. Walking & Eating Tour" April 2018 "Sometimes the best way to know a city or neighborhood is by experiencing its local restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and other food offerings. But how to decide where to go and what to eat? Off the Beaten Path Food Tours — known locally for its tours of Union and Davis Squares in Somerville, and Harvard Square Food and Chocolate tours — is debuting a new walking tour this spring. The Jamaica Plain tour focuses on this Boston community’s best and tastiest spots along popular Centre Street, home to a variety of independent eateries often owned by local residents. The tour runs approximately two hours and stops at four to six places. There is an optional extension to tour nearby Turtle Swamp Brewery, a micro-craft brewery with a dedicated fan following. www.offthebeatenpathfoodtours.com"

"We truly believe JP has the freshest, yummiest food in town," said Lizzie Bell, co-owner of Off The Beaten Path Food Tours and Experiences. ..."Time and again, I found myself visiting Jamaica Plain because there is an incredible food scene here with lots of unique stories and history as well as a strong, neighborly culture that shines through," said Bell. “We are excited to take guests on a delectable culinary journey through the commercial district of Centre Street. We will visit a mix of historic restaurants that have graced the neighborhood for decades and also newer businesses that are growing their following.”"

November, 2017 Issue: Guide to Boston "Boston is a world-class foodie destination - but sorting through the artisanal delight from the shrink-wrapped standard can be tricky. For our money, Off the Beaten Path Food Tours really nails it.
